Living power's rush
Thunders across broken ground
Longing for freedom
Fierce rebellion
Bringing down dark horizons
Giving rise to life
Sun boldly rising
Defeating the endless night
We are triumphant
Today I thought I'd take a different route than usual and do some haikus. I got inspiration for this from a daydream I've been having lately about a small rebel taskforce overthrowing a government that had kept them oppressed as prisoners for years... Yeah, I know, it sounds a lot like the American Revolution, but I'm pretty sure that's how most successful rebellions start. A bunch of people with the same idea, banding together to put it to action.
